At Body Basics I offer a personal training/strength training/ one on one personal trainer and weight loss service to help you achieve your personal goals. From entry fitness and weight loss through to first event, half marathon, marathon training all the way to professional athlete status.
I work alongside a very well known nutritionist in the industry and together we can support you.
I've been involved in fitness and personal training for over 20 years and have helped hundreds of people live a better lifestyle and achieve their fitness and weight loss goals. These changes have not only helped my clients, but their families too.
Over the years I have taken on many goals/challenges myself, including teaching Body Pump and RPM for Les Mills around NZ. I've participated in a body building competition, swum in open sea events for a Half Ironman, and participated in many running and cycling events.
I have had my own personal battles with illness and can relate to many coming through health issues or injuries. I assure you, I will be there to support you with your battles.
To provide a lending hand for people to take control and change their lives through a lifestyle change. To show people that anything is possible and they can reach their goals, through health and wellbeing.
Personal training and strength training is also about building trust and working side-by-side, always adjusting to push harder to achieve what the goal is that can keep changing.
It's important to me that I am accountable to myself to help you achieve your goals. This means we need to trust each and work together, regularly reviewing things and progress as we go, while setting goals that are realistic with times frames and rewards.
It's always more fun training with others, and I enjoy the relationships that come from working together on our wellbeing. The laughter and chats that come allow us to create deeper relationships which also benefits our wellbeing.
